Automotive

We produce safe and reliable products for interior, exterior, and automotive wire and cable applications, including PVC, XLPE, polypropylene, silicone, and other olefinic-based compounds for primary wire, battery cables, charging cables, and harness systems. We have significantly expanded our wire and cable portfolio, enhancing our capabilities alongside our existing molded and extruded automotive components such as mud molding, belt molding, roof ditch molding, encapsulation, fuel lines, and injection-molded parts.

Automotive Wire

Automotive Wire

Compounds used in automotive wire and wire harnesses—such as PVC, XLPE, polypropylene, silicone, and other olefinic-based materials—offer a range of advantages including durability, resistance to moisture and chemicals, abrasion resistance, flame retardancy, excellent electrical insulation, and low fogging, while remaining lightweight and economical compared with many alternative polymers. Our automotive wiring is engineered for diverse applications, including engine wiring, body wiring, and interior wiring, as well as exterior and under‑hood environments where elevated temperature and harsh conditions demand robust material performance.

Belt Molding

Belt Molding

Belt moldings are auto parts made of a metal frame on which several materials can be coextruded. Inner and outer belt moldings are positioned in the door of the car which consolidates the automotive glasses. Inner belt molding plays an important functional role for the insulation. Outer belt molding is designed not only for the insulation but also for the aesthetic part of the vehicle

Encapsulation

Encapsulation

Rear glasses are parts made of an injected seal around a glass piece. Final parts will be mounted on the body of the car as static glass parts. Rear glasses have a sealing role through the insulation between the exterior and the body of the car and an aesthetical function such as visible parts.

Fuel Line

Fuel Line

Fuel lines are pipes that carry the fuel from the tank into the engine. These are usually multilayers structures consisting of an inner tube, an intermediate layer and an outer protective layer. Nakanprene provides technical solutions for the outer layer with products that are characterized by high resistances to temperature and to chemical and abrasive agents.

Injected Parts

Injected Parts

Injected vehicle parts consist in a wide range of parts that present as a common characteristic their complex shape. These parts are produced by filling an injection mold with fused material. Our technical compounds fit this type of technology thanks to low melt viscosities and high resistance to thermal degradation. Final parts, primarily used in automotive interior are characterized by good abrasion resistance and excellent durability.

Roof Ditch Molding

Roof Ditch Molding

Roof ditch moldings are extruded or coextruded parts made to ensure perfect sealing between the different parts of the roof and to allow suitable mounting of the roof racks. Roof ditch moldings are made of a metal profile on which a thin layer of compound is deposited for aspect and soft lips are coextruded on sides for sealing.

Slush Molding

Slush Molding

Slush products offer various advantages, such as durability, versatility, flexibility, chemical resistance, and cost-effectiveness. Our slush products are commonly used for dip-molded, slush-molded, and cast films.
